DESCRIPTION: In general, the work consists of: replacement of EPDM roofing on Buildings A, B, D, and G and their associated building connectors. The existing roof of the buildings will have the existing insulation to remain and replace the membrane. Reuse existing ballast. The work includes new metal flashing and replacement of roof drains, as needed. Additionally, Buildings H and J will receive new flute fill insulation and board insulation under new membrane roof system. Gutters and downspouts will also be replaced / provided. Work will be phased to not interfere with the safety and security of the facility, and to coordinate with construction projects that will be on the same timeline.
PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A non-mandatory pre-bid tour is scheduled for Wednesday, December 18 at 11:00 a.m. on site at Sand Ridge Secure Treatment Center. It is encouraged that contractors attend. Advance registration for participation in the tour is required and bidders should contact Sara Holte 72-hours in advance of the pre-bid conference to provide access information.
