DESCRIPTION: In general, the work consists of: the remodeling of bathrooms within two (2) housing units. This work will include reworking of CMU walls to accommodate new detention grade toilet and shower fixtures, new floor, wall and ceiling finishes. HVAC work is limited to the replacement of grilles, diffusers and covers. Work by Owner will include all electrical work (Division 26-28), new toilet and shower modesty partitions, swing doors and lighting fixtures. This work is located within a secure facility.
PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A non-mandatory pre-bid tour is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. November 12, 2024, at the project site. It is encouraged that contractors attend. Attendees will require a background check per DOC Contractor Site Access and Working Requirements included within. Please email Quentin Trevino, B&G Supervisor quentin.trevino@wisconsin.gov and Jessica Erickson, jessica.erickson@wisconsin.gov a minimum of 48 business hours prior to meeting to be included on the list of attendees.
